Vinted- can you help? Listing query

I want to sell some make up (very high end foundation) and after looking at the others for sale, they all say 'Brand New' etc.

The photos clearly don't show brand new bottles but is it a 'requirement' of Vinted that all cosmetic listings have to be 'new'?

I've used a couple of squirts from the pump bottle but sadly I made an error with the shade. It was a repeat purchase of something I'd used for years but the product was re-vamped. There have been a lot of negative comments on their website that the new version is darker than the previous version.

Anyone help?

From a quick Google.
Note 1: It is strictly prohibited to sell cosmetic items that have been used or tried, even once.

By default you have to list all cosmetics/perfumes etc as new. People do get around this by saying something in the description which makes it clear it has been used.

In your case you could just say what you've said here: I've used a couple of squirts from the pump bottle but sadly I made an error with the shade.

Thanks, both.

That's what I thought as it's the same on Ebay.
