eBay or Vinted?

I'm not sure which is best to go for. I think things seem to sell at higher prices on eBay but then you have seller fees so does it just balance out? Any advice. It's mainly clothes (mostly not new) that I'm selling.

I've recently been wondering the same thing.

My rule of thumb is:

• if it's men's branded/high value clothes, go for eBay.
• If it's lower value female clothes, go for vinted?

I sell on Vinted. You will get a higher price for specialist items on ebay - so high fashion, exclusive designs etc. But Vinted is SO easy to use - super easy to load pics, the purchaser pays postage, quick to get your money and easy to get into your bank quickly. But Vinted prices can be cheap - but if what you want to do is clear some stuff, then go for it!

Long standing ebayer just started using Vinted. Listed a few items this afternoon and already have messages requesting photos to be sent as internet slow/not available for a number of reasons. It feels scammy to me. Is it? My items are not showing any views.

@socialdilemmawhattodo check that your posts are actually loaded, so can you see the photos. Are they reasonable? Show the things that you need to see etc? If so, I wouldn't directly correspond with anyone. You can send photos via the site if you want/need to; but I definitely wouldn't do it outside that.
