Vinted bundle postage

Been selling a lot on vinted recently. Selling things for v low prices but they are things I'd otherwise give away and it's so much less hassle than eBay so all good . . . But this morning had first issue and I'm finding g their help a bit rubbish so wanted to get advice on here. Sold 2 bundles this morning. One was mix of kids shoes and a few kids book, given the select package size option like when I sold a bundle before. I weighed items, selected large due to weight and then buyer paid. All good I think. The other bundle (which actually sold a bit before I think) was all books, including a bundle of 3 smaller kids paper backs which were one listing plus 2 larger picture books. Didn't get option to select package size, just got the label thing (digital evri one). Took it to parcel shop after lunch and when I printed label it said less than 1kg when package almost certainly over a kg. I was in a hurry &didn't really think - I just gave it to guy at shop and left. Contacted vinted later and they are saying sellers can't select package weights for bundles anymore (not true as I did it this morning for other bundle!), that postage weight is automatically applied by what I set when listing and basically it's my fault for selecting wrong package size when listing. They also said I should have contacted buyer and cancelled sale. I pointed out they were right weights for individual listings but not as bundle. Not heard back on that. I know I shouldn't have actually left parcel at shop, but basically this has amped hassle factor of vinted that I had generally found rather low previously. Anyone else sold bundles on vinted and had similar issue?
