do you have to wait for a paypal echeque to clear?

Yesterday i paid a seller via paypal. They have sent me an email saying they will send item when the paypal e-cheque has cleared. Does this sound OK or am i being taken for a ride? Am a bit worried because it was £150.

yes they would have o wait for the cheque to clear, they will receive an email from paypal once this has happened

if they send it before the echeque clears, they are not covered by paypal rules!
I sometimes send things before echeques clear, normally only cheap things under £5!

they have to wait for e cheque to clear the same as you wouldnt send someone something if cheque hasnt cleared

it can take up to 10 days for an e cheque to clear
