Help me up my ebay selling - where do you get stuff to sell?

Hi all

I've been selling bits and bobs (mostly low-value items) for a couple of years on and off. I have moderate success. I'd love to start selling a bit more seriously, but don't really know how to go about it. I've sold most of the junk we have and am wondering where you guys get the stuff you sell? I live in London, so charity shops / boot sales are often not that cheap.

Also, I know if I buy things to sell on I should register as a business seller. Would that mean I pay extra fees? Most things I sell are for under a fiver, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it iyswim.

Basically, I want to make more cash -how?

no extra fees for a business seller, so you just pay tax as usual.

All I can suggest is you research stuff from the completed items, find a supplier and work out what your profit would be.
I always think it best to stick to something you already know something about.

Speak to all friends and offer to sell, either buy it from them, as say a big bin bag full, or offer to sell it for themm, for a commission ?

you could try contacting suppliers who sell wholesale- try www.thewholesaler.co.uk or www.esources.co.uk or www.wholesalepages.co.uk

Some won't supply to ebay traders, but you can always ask!
