Hi
I want to sell some big items, buggy, highchair etc but have never used ebay so I wondered about using this company who do the work for you but take a 30% cut.

Has anyone used them? Am I likely to get a higher price by them selling it for me, than me trying on my own. I just think as I've never traded on ebay people would be wary of buying something like a bugaboo from me, and so I'd get fewer bids. With this company people would be more inclined to trust them - or it is a waste of time?

Has anyone used them, or do you think it's a waste of money. thanks for any advice

I'd go for selling myself tbh, it's not that hard apart from sorting out the couriers

if you are in London you could try the nappyvalley website

I think if you list collection in person as an option, it makes people think that you are more likely to be trustworthy, as somebody collecting wouldn't pay if they weren't happy.

Can you sell, or even just buy, a few things on ebay first to try and up your reputation? Alternatively, do you have a friend with an ebay account? I quite often sell things on behalf of my sister etc (without taking any cut, but I'm a mug )

Try to get someone locally who can guide you through it.

I love Ebay and am more than willing to help anyone who's local to do their first listings buck shee ....but I'm in Sunny Sheffield, so probably not much help to you!
