Vinted brand new...not quite?

Hi all, hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Has any of you shopped on Vinted? I have been shopping there recently and I start my searches by filtering by the preference: brand new with or without tags

I bought a bundle of clothing from the same seller, all labeled BNWT, and when the stuff arrived it seemed almost certainly not brand new but the tags were all still on! Based on the condition I would say all excellent condition but not brand new colours are ever so slightly faded, clothes all smell like they've been recently washed, and what gave it away for me is the tags had written-on labels (like the seller had preserved the labels for posterity, then re-attached them somehow (they had a plastic tag on).

I had a suspicion this was happening with a previous purchase but now I'm certain this is a common 'trick' people are using to sell their clothing onwards...Has anyone done this to sell or had a similar experience?

I don't think I can dispute it because it looks in excellent condition and the tags are on (not even that I want to because all the clothes are just what I needed).

I'm not really mad -- I have bought excellent condition clothing before, and these clothes were really fairly priced but I have to say I would much rather prefer they be declared in advance, otherwise it's not fair IMO!

I had this problem on Ebay, it turns out you can just buy the guns that attach the tags for around £10.
I put comments like 'signs of wear and smells of laundry detergent' in the feedback.

Yes post feedback as it should not be allowed and I would send back and say it’s not new with tags. Tags attached but not new. You haven’t clicked on the everything is fine or it has gone past the 48 hours after delivery/collection as you can’t dispute it then. Also a common trick when I was younger was people would wear the outfits and keep the tags on and then return them to the store the next day after a night out

I've shopped on vinted. I think it depends on how long seller has had it sitting there. But really they should describe item as it is.

I sell on vinted, mostly brand new items from stock that my auntie had.
