eBay packlink using Yodel prices doubled?

Yodel direct prices appear to have gone up from £2.88 for a standard parcel to around £6, is everyone else finding this when they go into eBay packlink or am I doing something wrong?

Yodel were considerably cheaper than Evri, they're now more expensive.

Sorry, I've tried a different item and it's coming up as the usual £2.88.

Not sure wtf is happening with the first item.

Still has this issue with one item, I checked in case the buyer is somewhere that Yodel may charge more to deliver too (Channel Islands perhaps) but they're in Scotland (Aberdeenshire). I haven't encountered this with a Scottish buyer before; they're usually the same standard price so I'm not sure why this is happening; had anyone else experienced this?

I've found this recently too. Certain parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Both Yodel and Evri charge around double. I use Royal Mail in these circumstances as the price is the same for a small parcel wherever it's going. I usually do pay extra for signature tho as the tracking is so bad. Annoying isn't it?!

Thanks for answering.

I'm in NI and buyer in Scotland but this is the first time I've encountered this (and I've had quite a few Scottish buyers).

Weirder still, the eBay support person (on chat) says she's getting the standard Yodel rate when she looks at it. She's telling me to try the site on a desktop and I've now got dropped out of the chat session .

I'll try the website and update on here.

And yes RM without signature is a palaver. That's why I moved to Yodel (and very occasionally Evri).

I got stung like this once when I chose Evri, which was the cheapest at £2.96 compared with RM at around £3.95 or something like that, but the buyer lived in Northern Ireland. RM price would have been the same anywhere in the UK, but Evri price was over £8. Learnt my lesson.

You could either stick with Evri or Yodel and put them on your excluded locations list so that it stops buyers from places like Northern Island, Scottish Isles etc, or pay a little bit more for RM, and increase chances of sale by reaching further parts of the UK.

I'm in NI and honestly I never usually get charged more either to send to mainland UK or receive from mainland UK.

To be fair I rarely use Evri, used to use RM, now Yodel.

When I did use Evri though, due to a parcel size my local Yodel depot won't accept; it was reasonable. So I'm not sure what happened in that sale for you.

This looks like some kind of glitch. Every si hle other parcel I try to buy postage for defaults to Yodel at £2.88.

And Ive sent to Scotland many times before at £2.88.

eBay have suggested trying the desktop app but I can't find my laptop lol.

They also suggested trying the website on my phone, but that just keeps defaulting to opening the app on my phone.
