EBay or Vinted?

I have quite a few Jaeger and similar clothes to sell. I have not previously sold on line and wonder if I would get a better price on EBay as opposed to Vinted?

Try listing on both and see what happens.

I find that items like vintage fashion accessories sell for their asking price on eBay.

Some people want something for nothing on Vinted and will offer you less than 50% of your asking price. You will get to keep whatever your item sells for, so you can price for a little less than what you would for eBay. Buyer pays for postage label which gets sent to you.

If it's a popular and high value item, then I'd list on eBay, although bear in mind that final value fee is something like 15%.

I use eBay but only list when they have their 80% off fees promotion which makes a big difference to how much I make

I normally list the item on both sites. It's hit and miss which site the same item sells on.

Last week I listed two pairs of Clarks kids sandals. One sold on ebay (£5, good condition) and the other sold on Vinted (£2.50, ok condition).

For an item in very good condition I think you will get a higher price on ebay. People are willing to pay a bit more because they have buyer protection whereas on Vinted many people have been burnt by items in not as expected condition so they have lower expectations of receiving an item in excellent condition even if described as being in excellent condition.
