buying a car seat from a german ebay shop

I'd like to buy a maxi cosi priori xp from an ebay shop in germany. has anyone done this? just wondering if the specification for the seat will be the same as in the UK? would imagine so but you never know do you!!

Bought a Zapp from ebay shop in Germany and when it was faulty they wouldn't have anything to do with me. Also you aren't covered with the manufacturer because it wasn't bought in UK. Don't do it.
