Which postage product?

I am selling an item that is worth about £65, more than I normally sell bits for.

Which service should I use? I see that tracked 24 includes a £100 insurance but this is only available for business account holders. I only sell about one thing a month from crap we no longer need about the house, so I do not want to bother setting up a business account. Even something that covered up to £50 will probably do.

Unfortunately I am a bit out in the sticks and a post office is far closer than any other comapanies.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi! Tracked 24 is available to everyone, not just business holders - i will try add a link below but if it doesnt work just type 'tracked 24 for personal customers' into google and the first page in the list will take you straight there.

You can buy the label online and have it collected from your door rather than dropping off at the PO and if not able to print the labels yourself theres an option for them to bring the label too. :)

If you have a printer, then I'd use tracked 48 or 24. You can buy the label on ebay even if you are a private seller. Make sure you pack the item, measure and weigh it first so you pick the right parcel size (the sizes are on the page before you commit and pay), and make sure you enter the weight on the label order page.

Thanks both of you.
