I have been using the same bank account for anything I sell on eBay for quite a long time. Yesterday I sold something and got an email saying the funds had been paid and I checked and the money is in my account. I then see I have a message saying eBay will make micropayments to my account to check it is my account? Does this mean someone might be trying to divert future payments or is it standard? Never heard of it before and can't find anything to explain it online.
