Ebay negative feedback question

I left negative feedback for a seller, but, the feedback has been removed. Does anyone know what the rules are re this these days? In the past as a seller I've struggled to have negative feedback removed but I haven't sold on there for years so completely out of the loop.

As a bit of background I bought an item that a lot of eBay shops were selling. The seller lied that I damaged the item when I returned it. Seller also ignored all my messages re the problem I had with the item. EBay has, as always the case, found in my favour so I have been refunded but I chose this seller over the other sellers because they had almost 10k transactions and over 99% feedback. I noticed when I was submitting my refund that there was another feedback with similar accusations as my situation. This has also been removed. It is very misleading imo. Just curious really and tempted to have a bit of a whinge to ebay as I have nothing better to do 🙃

What did the feedback say, exactly? Removal tends to depend on how it is worded.

10k feedback at just over 99% isn’t great tbh!

It was almost 100%, maybe 7 neutral reviews, no negative. Neutral reviews were largely regarding damage/delays but being refunded quickly so not actually something to really complain about.

I just factually explained what had occurred. Not flying off the handle type comments. I also commented that I would have left positive feedback had this not happened as the item was shipped very quickly.
