Ebay return

I have opened a return on ebay (item not as described) and the seller has accepted it. However, she says that she could not generate a return label and asked me to post it, and then she will paypal me the postage costs back.

However she has also given me a different return address than the one supplied by ebay - she says she has moved house.

Is this OK to do? I will use a tracked delivery service but I am worried I might lose my right to a refund if the package goes missing and I have used a different address. Am not sure what else to do as ebay are sending me messages telling me to return the item asap.

No. Tell her to contact eBay who will help her generate a return label with the correct address on it.

if no luck before the case is about to close out contact eBay yourself and say that the seller with provide a returns label.
