Help! Where to sell brand new clothes?

HI Everyone,

My friend is a technophobe and has asked for my help selling a ton of brand new clothes. She has lost a lot of weight and is looking to make as much money as possible.

The clothes are all brand new with tags on. Mostly from Next or M&S. All womens' clothing suitable for 40-55 year olds.

I'm good with technology so can put up listings/take photos etc. However I have no idea where to advise her to list these items to make the most money as I've never done this. Ebay? Vinted? Elsewhere?

Any advice/tips would be greatly received. Thank you!

Branded items from Next and M&S sell well on ebay, but you aren't going to get new prices. I suggest the best thing to do when you are selling for someone else is its for them to decide the minimum they are prepared to accept for each item before fees, and for you to get that in writing. Then use that as your starting bid.

Her other option is to use a 'new to you' shop that sells on commission, if there is one near you.
