What does item pending payment through paypal mean?

I've paid for an item I bought two days ago but the listing says item pending payment. Is this to do with the seller's Paypal account?

did your fund come from money in your paypal account or from a card ie an echeque?

I didn't have funds in my account so comes from my credit card via Paypal.

will take 7 - 10 days prob to clear then

I've had this before I think it means that your buyer needs to action something. Look on your Paypal account and see what it says about the transaction

Sixlostmonkeys, I haven't had funds actually in my account for ages but have been spending off the credit card no problems with immediate payment.

wheresthehamster, I did wonder about this, the seller must be new and has only got 1 feedback so maybe the account hasn't been actioned. Will have a look now, didn't realise I could check.

Had a look and it says payment is unclaimed.

Email him and remind him you have paid but it is unclaimed and when can you expect your item
