Buyer wants to collect

Buyer has said they noticed I'm in same postcode and want to collect if I'm nearby. Don't really want randomers coming to my house and how does it work with the PayPal thing?

If they pay by Paypal you've no proof if they then say they haven't received it. If you are going to allow collection, ask for cash instead. Or just say collection isn't convenient and you are only offering delivery.

Are they allowed to give me negative feedback for it. I deliberately didn't specify collection.

If they leave negative feedback for that you should be able to get ebay to remove it.
But imo if you are generally an honest seller you shouldn't worry about occasional negative feedback. You can end up bending over backwards to try to avoid it and it just makes ebay really stressful.

What’s the item? Big enough to warrant collection? It does make sense to let them collect if they’re in your neighbourhood, but I’d insist on cash only (and no £50 notes!)
