Ebay postage costs

I'm new to selling on Ebay, and have a silly question

When you're calculating postage costs, the Royal Mail website asks you to put in the postcode of the address to which you are sending. But you don't know the postcode until you've sold it?

What do you do?

I weigh my items on my kitchen scales and add on a bit to take into account packaging then look that weight up on the Royal Mail's price list on their website.

You can just suse the price list and state UK or europe etc.

When weighing remember weight of packaging if you haven't already wrapped it.

I use this page and just put in an approximate weight.
