Got an auction ending today, potential buyer asking if she can pay with postal order as she doesnt have paypal or credit card - is it dodgy? Anything to watch out for?

whyve you had silly questions?
i have to take time out from ebay occasionally as does my head in !
hope it all goes ok.

I did this once because I wanted the item in a hurry and didn't want to wait for a cheque to clear. I can't see how it could be dodgy.

YOu can get counterfeit PO, so dont send teh item until you have cashed it fully

jofeb04 · 24/01/2008 12:07

Just make sure you have cashed the postal order before you send it, as there can be counterfeit (sp?) Postal Orders (post office will notice them, but you may not).
