Vinted parcel sizes

Sorry if this has been done to death. I've just started with Vinted and I've been picking "medium" parcel size, based on Vinted's description. I now realise that this means the buyer pays around £2.95 for postage. Can many "light" clothes eg summer dresses, mini skirts etc be sent as "small" parcels? I can see that paying as much for the postage as you do for the item could be off-putting.

Who do you use to post your items? That sounds about right for Evri, but if you use Royal Mail you can often send something as a large letter if you are creative or can vacuum pack.
Max width for Royal Mail is 2.5cm and I made a gauge by gluing plastic rulers together. I use it before I list each item.

I’ve got 600 reviews on vinted and I think whatever fits in the small lockers at the inPost lockers, you can press small no matter the weight if it goes in there small, some large coats go in medium. I’ve never had a issue in 600 parcels sent out!

some people charge large for like 2 T-shirts, and I don’t understand why because they don’t get the money unless it’s Royal Mail. It’s prepaid labels. You’d sell lots more if you was fairer with the postage.. x

I always charge small unless it's a couple of bulkier items. I sent a denim shirt off as a small recently. I don't think Evri care or measure them like Royal Mail do

Just be aware that small for Royal Mail via Vinted means you only get sent funds for a large letter not a small parcel, so either disable RM options or only add this if your item can be sent as a large letter.

Thanks everyone this all makes sense. As the buyer chooses the courier, I was concerned that they all have different rules and I could get caught out with Small. Disabling RM is a good idea as they are the least cost-effective and the least convenient for me!
