Posting to Spain, can anyone give me a rough price please?

It's for a mobile phone, box and charger. I have looked on royal mail website and am getting about £20, am I doing something wrong, seams an awful lot. I am in the Uk, and have someone asking for a price before they bid. Thanks

I sent three books (annuals) to Spain for Chrimbo and it was around £8 - put perhaps you have to pay more for the value of the phone IYSWIM

I sent a mobile phone to a mnetter in the UK in its box for next day delivery, as it was the only one where the phone was insured, it cost £6.

What are you putting in for the weight? Is it a service whereby a signature is required ( like mine was) and insurance,

it does seem like alot.

Maybe it's the weight thing, I have no way of weighing the phone here, so was just looking at the 1kg prices, which I think is far to heavy. I am rubbish at things like this. Thanks for the replies

I had a look too, it does seem to creep up in price alot for the sake of the insurance etc..

I checked the weight for you, using the one I sold as a guide, and it was £6 for 1kg, so I assume yours will be similar, as i had no idea what the weight was of mine till just now!!

obv mine was to uk tho.

So the 1kg was about right then, phone in worth about £60, don't think it will be worth the buyer bidding if postage is going to be so much to spain.. Thanks

Right, have called the post office, and they have said it will be £10, and that will cover the value of the phone and be recorded, sounds better

thats much different to what the website said.
