RIPPED OFF GOOD AND PROPER

I bought a tea set. Seller sent in two boxes. Received one the other has gone missing. Opened a not received case as I have 2 tracking numbers but ebay have closed in the sellers favour and I have only had one box so only half a tea set. I left negative feedback which somehow the seller has had removed.! Totally bloody pissed off!

Phone eBay, you can appeal. They are nice I've dealt with them lots of times before.
They normally side with the buyer.
What does the tracking number say on the courier website? Does it say delivered?
If you don't have the item & there is no proof that you received it, you can't loose.

Sorry to hear your experience. Ebay are renowned for siding with the buyer so this is a new one. Saying that I had an experience with someone not long ago who brought a mobile phone of me, they took all the parts out the phone and then claimed it was broken.They sent it back and when I realised what they did I contacted eBay who were of no help. I left feedback which the buyer had removed. I contacted some other people of this persons feedback reel who all echoed my experience who also left bad feedback but buyer has had that removed so retains 100 percent feedback score. This buyer is still active, has 100 percent feedback score and has scammed quite a few people. What really takes the biscuit is the buyer left me bad feedback which low and behold I am unable to remove. Ebay is dreadful when problems arise that is for sure.

The first tracking number shows delivered but the second says Claims code sent , issue with parcel.

I know this doesn't help much but this is exactly why I have bought many things on eBay but I would never sell...I've read so many stories about disputes being weighted in favour of the buyer that I prefer to stay on the 'winning' side.

I find it odd that they sided with the seller. I sell & buy on eBay, and altho them siding with the seller shows they are changing their ways, tracking clearly shows you haven't received the second item.
Make sure you appeal or phone them.

The claim was probably closed automatically by a web bot, if you can speak to a person they'll be able to see the second parcel has gone missing.
You could also post about it in the forum because that needs fixing. Their web site is so clunky its beyond a joke.
