Help please - paypal question

I have a credit balance in my paypal account but it doesn't belong to me (it's been contributed by others towards a group project). I want to use my account but don't want to use this money - can I pay with funds directly from my card or will paypal automatically use any credit that's in my account first?

yes you can pay with your card. when it says funds-paypal balance when you go onto the check you payment - it says more funding options, click on that and change to which ever card you want to use, then double check before you click send payment
