What percentage do ebay take these days?

Does max £1 selling fees mean you really just pay £1 & they don't charge you anything else?

If you're a private seller on managed payments it works out about 12% of the total price including postage costs. Last time I had the £1 promotion (it was ages ago as they only offer it to private sellers) you paid the fixed part of the fee, which is about 30p, then a maximum £1 for the variable part of the fee. It's only on things that are listed during the promotion and sell within 30 days if they're on BIN.

I am a private seller and wait for them to do a 70% or 80% off selling fees. It seems they do an offer every 2 or 3 weeks or so but the item must be sold in the month to get the cheaper fees. If it doesn't sell I end the listing and then list again when they put an offer on.
I have the offer for this weekend so need to get listing some bits and pieces.

for private sellers standard fees are 12.9% of total ( including postage ) + 30p
they often do 80% off standard fees plus the 30p at least once a month have to sell within first selling period ( auctions) or 28 days ( buy it now) limited to 100 items
there is a 0.5-1% Exra charge if payment is not in GBP

Thanks all. I'm a private seller.

So if I list under the £1 max fees, they'll charge me £1.30 in total?

No for £1 max they take £1 max. I had it two weeks ago.

I’m using 80% off variable selling fees this weekend, first time I’m using it, I didn’t realise I’d still pay 30p per listing. I sell a lot at 99p starting so low value. I thought 80% off would be better than £1 max.
