What’s going on with eBay?

I thought eBay was an auction site, sold as seen/listed etc etc

Twice now there have been bids that have then been withdrawn! That’s not in the spirit of an auction!

Now a buyer wants to return an item that ‘doesn’t fit’ fully uploaded photos of the make and model of the item, photos attached, only one model has this particular colour, I have the same model and know not fits.

They are asking for a full refund including postage, now it seems that either I offer a full refund less postage or eBay will offer a full refund, including postage. How can this be? They purchased it in error, that’s on them to sell it on surely? I sole an item in good faith and if they have a full refund I’ve lost the postage twice:

Anyone else?

I think in that case you have to accept a return of your item but the buyer should pay the costs of returning it to you. Contact eBay to get them to guide you through the process.

It's rubbish now and i'll never use it again.

I sold a collectors item of CD's, completely untouched, in wrapping, 60 years old. The buyer played them all which is weird anyway as it is a collectors piece and then wanted a full refund as one CD didn't work.

I had already said i didn't accept returns but ebay was all in her favour and now I have a trashed, unwrapped obviously used item that is worthless. I am so angry about it.
