Sold bag yesterday but no record of the sale on MyEbay?

I sold a bag yesterday to a buyer in the States. Sent invoice straight away, but today there's no record of it in my sold items/items awaiting payment. It's as if it never existed!
I received an e-mail from e-bay saying the item had sold, but when I press the invoice button it says 'item has been removed/is no longer available' . Does this ring any bells with anyone?

It has happened to me a couple of times if I've done something naughty eg advertising footbed sandals as 'like birkenstocks' this type of thing. Have you contravened any copyright inadvertently?

I had this once, the settings had changed themselves. If you go to the drop down menu and ask it to display all sales, does that help?

Mmm,no I don't think so.. I've had listing removed in past for things like 'Dior-like..' in title. Fair enough, but this was fine, and had actually been sold too (7 day listing).

Have just had this e-mail from e-bay...still no clearer..
'we have removed these listings and will credit all fees to your account because it has come to our attention that the items were bought without the account owner's authorisation. We are now restoring the account to its owner'.
Eh?? How can I not have authorised the sale when I sold the item??

Mine happened with sold items too, but you get an email from them too don't you- so you'd know.

Perhaps that email means that the Buyers account was used by someone without their consent.

God ebay is soo complicated sometimes

Diege · 10/01/2008 13:30

Well, I've just e-mailed buyer to see what they make of it all, (though will bear in mind your point mynameis!!)The only thing I could think of is that the buyer is from the US - but there again I did say 'will sell worldwide'

I think that means the buyers account was 'hijacked' or maybe their kids bought it without permission and the parent/account holder reported them

Oh God, how exciting!!
