Do you send things to Paypal Address or Ebay Delivery Address?

Right am a bit of an idiot at ebay - have abought a few things and am awating their delivery - but have moved and haven't changed postcode of paypal address - ebay delivery and billig adress is correct but the paypal address is my new address with the wrong postcode, that of my old address IYSWIM!

Do people use the ebay delivery address or the paypal address when they send things and what would happen to a parcel sent out with an address which doesn't match the postcode?

Typical me too - am V Annoyed at my stupidity!

I am sure that I read that if someone pays with PP you should always use that address, otherwise not covered. Not sure how true that is.

I don't think you actually get given the ebay address, when you post something, just the paypal address, so I would assume it's coming to you, if not message the seller, and ask which address they ahve used.

I didnt change my paypal address and was waiting for something, remembered, messaged them to say that I had given them the wrong address, they were going to send it to my new address but had some troubles and didnt send it for two weeks so forgot by the time they did, As it had to be signed for they went to the parcelforce depot and I was able to go and pick it up or arrange redelivery to my new address as long as I had some ID with my name and old address on it.

Oh craps - hope I get the stuff now - was a game for DD and a dress for me!

Wonder what will happen - will they just use the postcode at the sorting office and send it to old address or will they realise that the postcode and the address are for 2 different counties?

If the postcode is wrong I'd assume they'd send to the address, just message the seeler and ask where they sent it, they'll probably understand, its easily done.

I always send to the Paypal address, but usually check that this matches the Ebay address. I think if postcode doesn't match address, it will go to the address. Do you have a mail redirection in place? If the sender has put a return address on it, it will probably get back to them, presuming that the person at the address now doesn't hold onto it. Could you ask an old neighbour to pop round and ask if it has arrived? The postcode / address discrepancy may mean it takes longer than normal to arrive.

Thanks guys - everything I had bought came yesterday though - thenk god - we hate our old neighbours and wouldn't have got stuff if it had one there!
