I see loads about eBay siding with buyers. I can't even find out how to contact eBay! I'm a long term eBay user with 100% + feedback. I always treat people well and have had few issues overtime.
I'm dealing with a business seller, part refund offer no-where near enough, so I didn't accept. They can replace the item or part of the set that is damaged.
They responded to say that I should use the item even though it has holes or that I should repair it myself😳
I asked for a refund but reading the terms of a return, the item needs to be in the original packaging - this was a Christmas gift - so long gone.
Given the company response so far, I have asked (more than once), for written confirmation that they will accept the return without the packaging. They have refused to confirm this.
I can just see what is about to happen, return the item and refund refused because of the lack of packaging. I expect I would be charged with the return postage too?
Return is sitting on my account, lapsed 28.01.22, I can't see any other options except cancel return...which I assume ends everything - leaving me no recourse.
We are at stalemate.
How do I contact eBay to help...or is that wishful thinking.
