Hi, I’m new to ebay selling and have just sold my first item - a pair of jeans! When sending out the parcel should I put my address on the back? I have a no returns policy for the buyer on my items and don’t want items returned. If the parcel is undelivered I guess it would be useful? what do you do? Thanks very much 😊.

Yes. Put your address on it just in case royal mail cannot deliver for whatever reason. I also use the packing slip option with my address again in case the address label falls off. So at least there's something inside the parcel with my details on it.

I put house number and postcode on back. When buying postage on line l also make sure to put my address in case it is undeliverable.

Yes always good to put senders details on parcels. I used to put my surname, house number and postcode on the back. Now I buy postage online and it automatically puts my details on the label. If possible send items tracked to stop false item not received claims.

Just as a side note as a private seller you can refuse returns for some reasons such as "doesn't fit" but even private sellers have to accept returns for "Item Not As Described" cases (and you have to pay the return postage cost). Some less honest buyers know this and will open an INAD case falsely and occasionally even go as far as to damage an item if they really want to force a return with a private seller.

Hi @SunburstsOrMarbleHalls Do you still sell via eBay? I’m a complete novice and I’m looking for guidance. Ant advice? TIA 🙏
