I bought a wooden construction set for my kids on eBay last Friday. The seller contacted me immediately to ask if I could meet in London & pick it up. I live 300+ miles away so obviously that's not an option for me.
It wasn't advertised as collection only, postage was probably too cheap but appeared in listing.
I won the item & have tried to pay several times, 5 times by PayPal. It says "payment pending" then returns to requiring payment. I then tried to pay by Apple Pay & using my credit card. Both times the payment went through but then was "refused by seller" apparently.
I've contacted the seller twice asking what going on? Does she require extra postage but had no reply at all. It looks as if I haven't paid.
I'm perfectly willing to accept this seller doesn't want the hassle of posting the probably quite heavy set but why not just cancel? Or reply?
Any advice? Should I cancel or shall I wait and it'll look like I haven't paid? Never had any issues ever before as a buyer. I have 100% great feedback. TIA
