I know you take a risk with buying items on ebay, but I'm fed up with bidding on something that is decent & then is rubbish.

Today a coat arrived for DD1. I know what it's supposed to look like because I've got the smaller size. The one that came today has had the guts washed out of it, presumably was with horrible cheap biological powder. The only saving grace is it doesn't smell of smoke.

Had to complain to the seller & waiting for reply.

Just wish descriptions were written honestly.

I get so sick of this too
Hope you get a refund...it makes you want to jack it in, doesn't it?

oh yes I had this too
I bought what I thought was a lovely Xmas top for dd to wear on Xmas Day
unfortunately it was a PJ top and was very well worn

i hate it cos you can;t buy brand names anymore cos they are so many fakes being sold

i just bought a rug from next off there was dead chuffed as it waslisted as being in fantastic condition

it came the other week smells really musty like it's been the loft a little smoky and has a yellowy tinge to it

It's so annoying, but because of the way the ebay feedback system works, I tend to just put it down to experience and keep quiet when this happens as I sell alot and have 100% feedback and just don't want that jeopodised by revenge feedback from nasty sellers I now tend to only buy things that are listed as new, but have even had trouble there too with some items arriving that are obviously NOT new! These sellers must have no shame, I wouldn't dream of selling some of the tat I have received, I only sell things that are immaculate. Some items I've received, I wouldn't even put in the charity bag, they go straight in the bin!

And everything's so expensive on ebay these days!

I've been looking for maternity stuff recently and it's all about £8.00 minimum for second hand, cheap quality stuff. Not a bargain in my opinion.

sleepdeprivationandme · 19/12/2007 13:10

I have got some maternity stuff that either has not been worn or was not worn - thigs i have sold on ebay have gone for nothing and they are immaculate. I dont know how people manage toget all this money for second hand tat. I have seen loads of thigs cheaper in the shops new! what size maternity clothes do youneed broccoli - i will have a loo and see what I ve got. No more kids for me!

BroccoliSpears · 19/12/2007 13:17

I'm a size 12 Sleepdep. Vering towards 14 rather than 10 !

sleepdeprivationandme · 19/12/2007 13:22

I will have a look and see what I have left and let you know, probably this eve now, have to nip into town - I had 3 different sizes for both my pregnancies, none of which were a 10!

BroccoliSpears · 19/12/2007 13:33

That's really kind of you.

Mojomummy · 19/12/2007 18:53

I always complain when I get rubbish & I have no qualms about opening disputes &/or leaving negative feedback. I've never recieved it for my items & I pride myself on being honest & decent . I've had a couple of negative, because I've left them, which is ridiculous, because how can you get negative when you've paid immediately ?!

The seller & I are in contact, so hopefully we'll sort it out........
