Sending to Botswana-anyone heard anything adverse about it?

I have sold an item and by mistake put I would post Worldwide. The winning bidder is in Botswana and has paid me through PayPal. Do you think I will be OK with sending item without being conned somehow?

Wait till the payment is actually in your account before posting it? (Not just in your Paypal account I mean) I would also be careful about ensuring you had a certificate of posting and ensure the buyer knows you won't be liable for something "lost" in the post - don't know what the postal system is like there.... The only person I know from Botswana is lovely!

I think Botswana is ok for postal reliability - it's one of the (sadly rarely mentioned) success stories in Africa
