It’ll be too thick for a normal first class stamp. You’ll need a Large Letter stamp I’m afraid.

You'll need a large letter stamp. If you have a printer you can buy postage online through royal mail.

DVD without the box is fine as fits the max dimensions. Anything over 5mm depth like the box will not.

If you don’t have a large letter stamp, two First Class stamps are more than adequate.

Costs 96p for 2nd class LL under 100 grams or 1.29 first class so 2 second class stamps 66p each would do the job.

I know you say you can't go out at the moment but I'd strongly suggest you get proof of posting. That'll give you some protection if the buyer claims non delivery.

CathyorClaire · 19/11/2021 20:23

I haven't posted any eBay untrackable sales since I can't remember when.

You'd be amazed the pittance an arse will try (and succeed) to scam as undelivered.

Nickster414 · 19/11/2021 21:52

do you get proof or anything of postage if you do it only via royal mail, still cant work out how people sell on ebay something for around £0.99p and go with free postage. mind boggles :)

Yes, proof of posting is available only at the post office but Royal mail are offering free pick up service -[ though that might be an offer particular to me ] - for parcel postage bought through eBay but you need a printer.
