Sold a dress on eBay. Said I don’t accept returns. Buyer said dress too small and doesn’t fit but didn’t mention anything wrong with it. eBay says I can reject the request- presumably because I said no returns. It really isn’t worth my while so thinking of refusing. What could happen if I refuse?

AFAIK if you are a private seller the worst they can do is leave negative feedback, which you could challenge and ebay would probably remove it.
I don't worry about the odd negative feedback, especially if people leave bonkers comments because that doesn't make you look as bad as they think.

Just send a polite message informing the buyer that as you’re a private seller, you don’t accept non fault returns. Then decline the return request. The buyer could leave negative or neutral feedback but they probably won’t.
