My 3 kids game boys sps plus bits were on ebay and finished sunday (3 auctions) One person bid on all three and won 2 of them. I havent heard from her yet, I know its only tuesday but I checked her feedback and it looks like she is quite new and has been bidding on several similar auctions like mine. She has also just won a DS and games which makes me think she wont want my stuff.

She also has a few negs for winning items and then not completing the purchase.

I really would like to sell these before christmas. So if she isnt going to pay me I would like to know sooner rather than later and relist and hopefully sell them to a genuuine buyer, but how long do I give her???

I was thinking of re invoicing her tomorrow if I dont hear and relisting before the weekend, but is that too quick.

Thanks for any comments.

Send her an email asking her if she is still interested in buying yours and to let you know even if she dont want them, you would just like to know where you stand.

I think you're meant to wait 7 days

Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago - sold my Buzz on Ebay to someone who had negs for winning and then not completing the sale. This buyer hasn't even contacted me a week after winning the auction, and so we have no hope of them completing the sale. We sent them several messages (all polite) have opened a dispute and will relist soon. Really, we shouldn't have taken the bid from someone with negs for not paying - we live and learn.

I think Ebay says contact should be made within 3 days, but you can't open a non payment dispute for 7 days.

Such a pain - you have my sympathy!

Thanks looks like it will have to wait a few more days then.
Its such a pain isnt it

You do need to wait 7 days before filing a non paying bidder dispute, but, if you reckon she isn't going to pay and you want to relist at the weekend you could take the chance and do so. This comes with a risk though. If she eventually decides she wants them, and you have gone on to sell to another, then she could file a dispute.
You just need to weigh it up really. A dispute could leave you with a small mark on your ebay, but at least you will have some money for christmas

Or do a second chance offer to the next highest bidder?

welshdeb · 13/12/2007 10:33

Well I checked yesterday and she has been NARU'd. So I guess she has been messing round other people as well as me.

So I filed a dispute, got my fees back and have relisted. Fingers crossed I will get a genuine buyer this time .

And guess what ...this morning I got an email saying she has been so busy etc etc ...cant get into her paypal a/c ....and could she send a P/O
