Soo cross today!

Sold a table, auction, listed in the description as collection only, postage pick-up only..
Winning bidder, 24 hours after the auction ends, and after an invoice and second message from me, says: Can you send an invoice with postage included, please..!
ARGH!

Have said they are welcome to arrange a courier, but would need to let me know so I can package/measure/weigh it in advance, and make sure I'm WFH on the day of collection..

Why can't people just read the ad, properly? Or just ask before bidding?

I'm not sure I'd be able to wrap a table well enough to post it - do Ebay let you add the cost of packaging to the invoice?
The few times I've wanted to use a courier I've messaged the seller beforehand to ask if its OK, and it hasn't been. So I didn't bid.

I think you can report them to Ebay for asking for something that wasnt included in the listing?

They have apparently arranged a courier to collect it today - we will see! I'm lucky in that we have packaging boxes/paper/wrap all over the place, and my DP is a dab-hand at packaging up furniture!

I wish they had asked before bidding - it would have made things far simpler!

I'd be annoyed too. Couriers aren't renowned for their good timing neither.

I recently waived p&p costs as the buyer wanted to meet me to collect. Fair enough, she lives near my workplace.

She hasn't shown up on either times arranged. Waited around like a lemon for 30 minutes. Not impressed!
