I have just sold a coat for a child on ebay. It is HUGE and furry. I had quoted £6.00 postage for UK which i thought would cover it. First time buyer has just won and notified me that they are sending winning bid plus just £6.00.... to send to Eire.
I have posted back proposing that i go to post office and get quote but wonder if i am worrying about nothing. Would a parcel costing about £6.00 to deliver to a UK address be much more expensive to send to Eire?
I do know this is probably a dim question but the post office has the same effect on me as boiler repair men - I find it impossible to figure out what they are talking about and tend to loose the will to live.
Any experience welcome
