Couriers alternatives to Royal Mail

Hi I am selling a barbie folding townhouse on ebay at the moment.
It weighs around 5kg on my scales (so may be nearer 6)

Is there any reputable and reliable couriers that could collect from me and deliver to a buyer at a reasonable cost, or should I stick to Royal mail.

Thanks for reading.

I used to use Payperdrop but they are no longer working sadly.

I used interparcel.com this week (collected today) and selected DHL 48 hour service. My parcel was about 10kg and measured 60x40x40cm and it cost me £8.21 inc VAT. This may well be a standard cost up to a certain kg weight.

www.parcel2go.com do one off deliveries (most courier companies make you have an account). the drawback is that they re-sell DHL's services so don't expect the goods to arrive quickly or anything.

what's wrong with royal mail though?

I use parcel2go.com because they're cheeeeep.

I have heard that they're unreliable, but they've always been okay for me (fingers crossed, touch wood, so far etc)

Senora nothing wrong with Royal Mail. However in order to give soem choice to prospective buyer I just wanted to know if there are any cheaper (reliable) alternatives.
