Looking at postage options. Is this service worth it?

It says you can still select option to print at drop off. Can’t see a price for this though?

Trying to work out if all this is cheaper than recorded 2nd class parcel.

If your parcel is less than 2kg then I'd stick with royal mail. Even if it's a few pence more the standard of delivery (IME) is superior.

If your parcel is more than 2kg then RM becomes too expensive.

I've not used packlink myself. When I had a heavy item to deliver I've used Hermes.

Am here to report my recent positive experience with Hermes parcelshop. I only sell occasionally. Post office is a nightmare, parcelshp newsagents is helpful, cheaper and easier to track so thumbs up from me

I've just had a bad experience using DHL via eBay packlink. Item was 7kg and I paid £8 for next day delivery. The parcel was picked up on time, however they didnt manage to deliver to the buyer until 3 weeks later - FFS!
I was in contact with the buyer who said that he'd not had any cards through the door from DHL. When the parcel eventually arrived it was battered to hell - despite having 'fragile' all over it. The item was damaged and I'm now in the course of trying to claim back through Packlink as I've had to refund the buyer.
I've not yet had a response from them - needless to say I wont be using DHL again!

Having said that, I do use Hermes occasionally and they have always been good.
