Selling a car

Just wondered what others thought...
I'm currently selling my car on eBay. I have been 100% honest in the description and stated that the car needs a major part replaced, and is therefore listed as 'spares or repair'.
After reading the descriptions of similar cars to mine, (and also having sold cars on eBay before), I clearly stated in the description that I would not be responding to any requests for my 'best price' or similar, and also that I would not be ending the auction early. I really could not have been any clearer.
The car has been listed for ONE hour, and I have already had THREE, (borderline illiterate), requests for my best price; one even wanted my phone number to 'discuss a deal'. I have ignored them, but now I'm worried I'm not really meant to do that, as eBay seems to think you should respond.
Any thoughts or reassurance?
Thanks Smile

....and I've just had request number 4 while I was writing this post. Ffs.

I'd block those users. I've never had that happen and then a good experience if they've ended up winning.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought. I'm hoping that they'll naturally drift away as the price (hopefully) goes up - I researched carefully and know what it's worth, so I really am not being conned into flogging it for pennies. I'm sure eBay won't care if I don't respond to messages either - no skin off their nose I guess Wink

They can't complain to eBay if you don't respond to them, eBay won't care because you didn't put 'best offer' in the listing; so you don't have to worry about that.

@Thelnebriati - thank you. I'm going to chill out and try not to worry about it. It's already had several bids and there's loads of watchers so I shouldn't have any trouble shifting it, (fingers crossed!).
