Item not arrived - is it up to me or the seller to chase Royal Mail?

Depends if they're bothered about their ratings! I had similar and the seller sent replacement items and said to keep the others if they did turn up. Was only cheap items but a nice gesture. Would email them again.

Worth a try - mine was one of the biggies too. Doesn'y ebay have a code of practice?

chasing it is different to claiming for it when it's lost.
I think what they mean is contact your local sorting office to see if it's there. Sometimes the postie fails to leave a card if you were out and he needs a signature. It's perfectly reasonable to ask you to do this, as you know your local sorting office but they don't.

If it fails to turn up at all 'then' it is up to the seller to refund you and claim from the royal mail

How did you pay for it?

sixlostmonkeys · 27/11/2007 15:08

before you contact your local sorting office see what the tracking says for it on the RM website
