Seller refused delivery of return

Hi, I purchased some sandals on ebay however when they arrived the strap was broken and the shoes had been hand stitched back together. I raised a dispute and was asked by ebay to return the item which I did via Royal Mail tracked.

However it appears as though the seller has refused the package from the postman.

Anyone know what happens in this situation?

Hi, yes I did pay with PayPal. I have tracking which I uploaded to the return but if it's not showing as delivered will I get my money back?

I'd escalate the case with eBay first. Either get on Live Chat or click the 'ask us to step in' on the case and explain. If the tracking backs you up they should close the case in your favour.

Can you screenshot the tracking to show it's been refused? I assume they can see this but it won't hurt to have extra proof.

@roses2 if the tracking shows you have returned it PayPal should refund you

Leave factual negative feedback for the seller, stating that they refused the parcel when you returned it.
Contact Ebay customer Services and explain you returned the parcel but tracking shows the seller refused to accept it.
If Ebay don't find in your favour (they probably will) then escalate to Pay Pal.

All you need is a an attempt of delivery to get refunded. Contact eBay and they will refund you.
