Buyer from Germany, Listing states posts to UK

A buyer has won my auction which clearly states posts to United Kingdom, When I viewed the order details it showed that he has a German address. I contacted buyer shortly after the auction ended and heard nothing( on the 18th). Then today he messages me asking for total so he can pay immediatley. I have messaged him again stating I only post out to addresses within the UK. Is there anything else I should do?
Advice appreciated.

posting to germany is no more difficult than posting to the UK.
Simply weigh your item then go to the royal mail web site and see how much it will cost airmail. Send him an invoice with the amount. When he has paid package and take to the post office the same way as the rest. Write Airmail at the top of the package.

If you would prefer not send to non UK countries change your preferences in ebay so that no non UK countries can bid

Why don't you want to post outside the UK, PC? I'm always wondering about this as some people won't post to Ireland. I am willing to pay for postage!

Hi sixlostmonkeys after posting thats exactly what I decided to do. I have now sent him a new invoice.
Looks like I will be selling worldwide now

Thanks for your help.

I've always sold worldwide - tbh costs to europe aren't that different to here since they altered the system
