Seller cancelled?

I don't think that there's anything I can do?

Annoyed though. Been bidding on toy bundle for Dd. Happened to see one ending 1am, no bids, got it for starting price. Paid immediately plus 15 postage. Trains so large.

Next day it's cancelled? I message seller and they say was meant to be collection only!! To big to post.

I've just sold two saddles and posted them for less with a courier.

This seller has sold over 500 items, and managed to specify 15 postage.

Just really annoyed me as I've now missed other sets as I thought I had one.

They have relisted, collection only, higher start price.

Poor practice surely?n

eBay does automatically suggest postage depending on 'items similar'. I've had it before where it auto populated to £20 postage for a dress! It honestly could just be a genuine mistake, no point in being angry.

Maybe they wanted more for it. I won a pair of shoes quite a bit less than rrp (however still quite a lot of money) and the seller cancelled with no explanation after about a week. Like you I was annoyed as I'd missed others and none have come up since. Happened another time and again I'd won it at the starting price then they said they couldn't find the items. Very likely they just decided not to let them go for the small price

I think with ebay it costs to set a reserve price so likely these sellers were just trying their luck by nit having one. TBH I never list as auction, it's all a bit fraught.

Reserve costing makes sense.

Just annoying when you think your sorted. Not the end of the world, only my time wasted. Just nonsense about being to big to post though.
