Payment on hold - how do I get it released?

Hi there. I guess this is technically a PayPal question, but can anyone help? I’ve sold an item and PayPal have had the payment on hold for over two weeks. Item was posted next day delivery (Royal Mail), and buyer has confirmed she has received item. I updated the tracking info as soon as I posted item, so why won’t PayPal release the funds? I’m going round in circles on the PayPal website and the messaging contact just refers you back to their home info pages. Thanks

Is it a new Pay Pal account?

Why did you send the item before payment cleared? Paypal do this sometimes, often with new accounts. You don't need to do anything or contact them but don't send items out until funds have cleared.

New (crappy) rulings on eBay. They not PayPal hold the funds until they can confirm it's been sent. As a regular seller I absolutely loath it and will probably sell elsewhere.

I had this, I've only sold one thing so I guess it's a new seller thing.

I couldn't not post till the money had been released because that would have put me in hot water with eBay and got negative feedback. I basically got an email when the buyer paid saying I could have money in a couple weeks which is what happened.

Mine was before eBay announced their payment change, has that been forced yet?
