Sold some boots on the 14th still no payment even though I've e-mailed. Previously I've had a lot of immediate payers- was I just lucky? I can't post tomorrow so a tad annoyed as the earliest I can do is Monday but I could have posted on the 14th iykwim

allow 7 days - you can file a dispute on day 8.

do you mean 14th of this month or last?

This month so maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, in my house of chaos I do like to get things out of the house and posted ASAP.

With kids boots you'd have thought they would have wanted them quickly

My words of wisdom would be give them the benefit of the doubt and stay as patient and polite for as long as possible - there sometimes are perfectly reasonable explanations why buyers haven't paid.
I was waiting for over about 2 weeks for a payment, sent a couple of reminders and finally had a reply that the buyer's husband had just died. I felt terrible for troubling her - I was just so relieved I'd been patient - some would have entered disputes, even left negative feedback by then.

Personally if they've got decent feedback, I leave it quite a while before I do anything. I will send reminder invoices every few days though. With newbies, I'd go to unpaid item dispute after 7 days.
