What do I do?

Funnily enough, its never happened to me before!

Posted them on the same day to different buyers.

Refund?

Check Royal Mail website for the number of days your chosen postage service allows for delivery. After a certain number of days, the item is deemed lost. You can make a claim against Royal Mail for the money you have lost.

Yes, give refund if the time on Royal Mail website has elapsed and item is deemed lost.

it makes the few quid you make even less worth while.

I don't think I will bother again.

Thank you for your answer

Do you have proof of posting?

I always use recorded delivery on all my auctions.

It weeds out the bidders who claim they didn't receive their items.

no but I am going to do that in future, thanks.

TBH I send out loads of post everyday for my job, I don't think any of it has every got lost! I put on a return address on all my mail.

This one time i didn't get proof of posting and I am now about £15 down with the paypal and listing costs.

I have asked buyers to wait a few more days. You never know it may turn up back here if they could't deliver the packets.

I have now blocked them from future sales.

the fact they were posted on the same day could indicate they are both stuck in one of royal mails deep and mysterious sorting rooms.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for

sparklygothkat · 14/11/2007 10:05

when did you post them? I am still waiting for a sling from Aus. that I think is stuck somewhere following the strikes, but the company is sending another as its been a month

Wotz · 14/11/2007 11:47

Last week, one buyer has said she will wait, as her postie appears to deliver parcels on a Saturday!

The other one is a new buyer and has left no feedback to her sellers. I have contacted some to see if the transaction went OK or not.

Can you add to your feedback. I would like to add 'item not received refund was given'.

I expect this happens a lot. Next time I will not leave feedback until the buyer has left theirs. That's what I normally do TBH.

The one that said she will wait has emailed to say they have just arrived. It's taken 9 days as second class post!
