Any idea why ebay are such fuckwits?

I have run a business on ebay since 2002 under the same account.
Because ebay don't control us enough I have recently been forced to accept their new payments process.
Under KYC rules (and I do understand these rules - I used to work in banking) they repeatedly claim they can't identify me despite having uploaded my current valid passport three times.
They are now witholding my money (which I used to have complete control over using paypal)
Bastards!

We had similar problems last year but were eventually supported out by ringing customer services who managed to navigate us through the hoops. I was tearing my hair out before with them seemingly not to be able to cope with businesses run as partnerships. Worth a try anyway.
