what do you do when asked for a BIN on an item at auction?

Recently I've listed a couple of items for auction only to be asked the 'best offer price' I would consider. I understand that buyers would rather not wait until the end of the auction, but if I've listed something for auction rather than BIN it's for a reason. Wouldn't I get charged to end an auction early?

Not sure if you'd get charged. Just explain that you will not end the auction early for a BIN price in the item description.

There is an additional fee for adding a BIN option to a listing but you can end and relist as fixed price which is cheaper.

BUT often when there is a BIN request on an item it means we have undervalued the item and it can go up considerably on auction so unless you are pretty certain of the price I would keep the auction running.

Revise the auction.
Change the starting bid to what they asked you to offer and allow Make an offer.
If they make an offer, accept it.
