Seller reviews - question about a comment

Just checking the reviews from a seller before committing to a Buy It Now item and noticed that where normally you'd see a brief description of what the seller sold / bought etc, it just says "private listing", not just one or two reviews, but all of them (hundreds)!

Anyone know what this is all about?

Sellers can opt to keep that information private. Sellers tend to do this when they sell sensitive or personal items, such as pregnancy tests, "adult" items etc. It protects the privacy of their buyers so others who may know their username cannot see what they've bought.

Oh I'd no idea it was possible to do that, thank you. Do you know exactly where on the site that option might appear (to save me searching for days as I'm a bit technically challenged!)

I think it's an option on your actual selling page. There's a tick box to 'make listing private' or something like that.
